We don´t actually use the word frijoles here (they say porotos instead), but it´s Spanish and a word that starts with F just as Family or friends would. How´s everyone doing this week?
We got the 200 boxes of Books of Mormon. It was crazy. We got them to come on District meeting day and recruited our District and Zone Leaders to help us. We assembly lined in about 125 boxes and the distribution company had to go back to Monte Grande to get us the last 75 boxes. They showed up about 3 hours later and we finished unloading the boxes with our district leaders (they stayed because we had divisions that day). Good day
Tomás Canga, son of President Canga, got baptized this past Sunday. It was great. Huge turnout. We met some of their friends. Good food and enjoyment were had by all. We even made it into a picture in the slideshow that they played while we ate food. Nice
Other than that, we just worked really hard and stressed out a bit about transfers. We´re honestly looking pretty good going into everything. I feel like we´re prepared, but you can´t really know until everything starts to go wrong so... We´re looking to have a great next week.
Speaking of transfers, we got the news this week of who stays and who goes. Elder Tanner and I will be spending yet another transfer here in the offices together and Elder Smellie and Cespedes will be receiving their replacements. They´ll train them for a transfer, and then they´re gone. The new Elders are Elder Sparks and Elder Aldana. More to come later. We took some really good pictures together because we love each other. Quote from Elder Smellie ´´Ok we have to do one like a 90´s family picture. Everyone sitting here just try to look as crazy happy as you can.´´ I think they turned out pretty good.
Have a great week everyone. Love you guys,
--Elder Sultan
