This was a very good week for us out in Ferrari. I would have to say that the highlight of the week was definitely church. We had 4 investigators come, one of them brought a friend, I taught the Gospel Principles class on, you guessed it, baptism, and I passed the sacrament. I felt like a solid contributer that day. On top of that, one of our investigators, named Sofia, has decided to get baptized. She`s been coming to church since February. Most of the time people don`t sit on the fence here for so long, but we`re happy that she`s decided to make such an important decision. I really love this ward! They`ve got a ton of youth and JAS and that`s super great for us. It feels like they`re family.
We also had zone conferences this week. Well, just hit me that that was the last one ever for me as a missionary. Wak. It was a good one too! Lots of good workshops and great advice on how we can improve and continue to baptize. President gave a shoutout to our group since we`ll be heading home soon. I think they`ll miss us here haha. I love my mission.
That was about everything of interest that happened this week. It rained a lot. I used boots nearly every single day because there`s a lot of mud in our area. Dirt streets everywhere. Elder Redmond continues to talk in a nice english accent and say words like trousers instead of pants and mum instead of mom.
The spiritual thought of the week is 3 Nephi 27:20 which I shared in today`s district meeting.
Sorry about that. Could you find that in English mom?
20 Now this is the commandment: Repent, all ye ends of the earth, and come unto me and be baptized in my name, that ye may be sanctified by the reception of the Holy Ghost, that ye may stand spotless before me at the last day.
I love you people. Happy Mother`s Day. We`ll be seeing each other soon. Have a great week!
-Elder Sultan
