Week 16

Dearest family and friends,

This is a little late and I apologize. Monday was a feriado day and that means that pretty much no one goes to work. It also rained which means that pretty much no one was outside. It was an interesting day to say the least. The week started off nicely.

We had something called a Texiera prayer. Elder Millett would ask me about the people I wanted him to pray for and I would tell him all of the things that were happening with them. He would then pray for my family members and friends. I would then do the same for him. It`s a great way to build unity within the companionship and with others.

We just had the baptismal interviews for our sweet little couple who are going to get baptized the 22nd. They are super great. Will send pics. We also have another really solid baptismal fecha for Cintia on the 29th. Very excited.

I`ll end with something that we heard in testimony meeting. A member of the young adults got up and talked about how much the gospel has blessed her life. She talked about all of the amazing things that we are capable of. She said ``It`s worth it to get up in the morning.`` And it is. Love you guys so much!

QandA

Q. How often do you get your letters? Do you go to the office to get them or does the office forward them to you?
A.We have to go to the offices to get letters and that only happens on transfers so yeah. I`m not getting them as often as I`d like, but when I do get them it`s a huge bunch of awesome.

Q. Made any banana bread lately?
A. Yes! We gave it all to a member who decided to wash our clothes for us.

Q. What you'll buy at the grocery store today
A. Well today nothing because it`s Wednesday. Maybe some fruit and oatmeal. On Monday I bought cookies, dulce de leche, cheese and crackers, and oatmeal.

Q. Do you mostly walk or take buses?
A. Walk in the area, take a bus if we go anywhere out of the way, and ride a bike on divisiones in Parque Leloir

Q. Tell us something from personal or companionship study
A. Alma 60:32- The inner vessel must be cleaned and then the outer vessel will be cleaned as well. While this was made in reference to the ancient Nephite government, it does have great significance for us. If you want to change a behavior, start with the thoughts that lead to that behavior. Actions are the result of inner impulses. Clean the inside and the outside will follow suit.
