Week 68

Flagons and Fold-up Ladders,

This one was a good one and a quick one.

General conference was great in every way. Top picks, on my part, would definitely be Russell M Nelson and Elder Zwick, but I imagine that Donald Hallstrom would´ve been an awesome one too if the internet didn´t cut out. God indeed has called and ordained men and women to guide His people once more. 

I was sick all week. I had hand sanitizer by my desk, and made frequent runs to the bathroom to grab tissue paper. Now that I type that out, I realize that it may have been more prudent to bring a box of tissues or something to the offices, but hey, I was sick. Clearly not thinking straight.

Palermo and Karen are awesome. The ward is starting to get food to take to them. They´re working on finding a house for them. They´re finding ways to help them wash their clothes. Full support. Love it. We have a few other investigators that have baptismal dates and we are very excited.

We had a flash today. We woke up early to go to the offices in sports clothes. We played basketball and directed where everyone was going to go and how they were going to get there. In the dead time, we played basketball in the back. On top of that, we sent and Elder home who was finishing his mission (honorably of course), and it´s just been a rollercoaster of a day. Love it.
