This week passed by pretty quick. We had interviews with President Resek, and had a multizone conference.
Outcome of the interview--a new senior couple should be coming to the mission in a little while. I´ll probably still be here when they get here. Elder Tanner will likely be accompanying me in that. President likes the offices just the way they are for now. It´ll be good.
We had 6 zones come to the chapel this Thursday. That means that food was given to 127 missionaries on Thursday. It turned out pretty dang well even with all of the last minute preparations that we had to do.
That was it. I´m going to talk about Christmas.
I love Christmas! Christmas here in Argentina is not the same as Christmas in the States. For one, it´s hot here. Second, Christmas here generally gets celebrated at about 12:00 AM Dec 25 with fireworks and dancing. Nonetheless, I still love Christmas no matter where I am because Christmas is great! I'mhonestly only bringing this up so early because all of the cards and materials for Light the World (the Church´s Christmas campaign for this year) just came in. I´m excited!
Good scripture from the week: Mosiah 15:7
Sí, aun de este modo será llevado, crucificado y muerto, la carne quedando sujeta hasta la muerte, la voluntad del Hijo siendo absorbida en la voluntad del Padre.
This is one of the scriptures that goes along with ´´Obedience´´ in Preach my Gospel. I do love that Christ's example shows that the most important thing for us to do here on this Earth is put our will in line with that of our Father in Heaven´s. Such is the plan, and part of that plan is that we all come out very happy. I know that following God´s plan is an infallible path to happiness. Stay on that path this week, and have a great one.
