Week 2

The sun has only just come out after around a week of rain. It´s super nice to be able to go outside and do stuff even if it is cold. Elder Littlefield is still awesome. Haven´t had any complaints. The worst I could come up with is that he eats pretty fast haha.

My Spanish has plateau-d slightly, but I´m still working to improve. The latinos are still awesome and their group is actually going to leave this coming Tuesday along with the other North Americans who have been here for a while. I´m fasting right now, but apparently that´s not allowed...?

Anyways we are having an English fast tomorrow, aka no English will be spoken. And that´s to prepare us for our first time proselyting this Saturday. I´ll tell you guys how that goes later. Littlefield and I bet the two sisters in our district that we´ll get more contacts than them and the winning companionship gets alfajores.

Speaking of alfajores, Argentine food is so dang good. The steak here that they serve in the cafeteria is legitimately good, and I´ve been able to palate just about everything they give us, except for this one meal that was like spongy cornbread with meat on top. Also they put dulce de leche in everything. Like pretty much any desert they give us has dulce on it, around it, or in it. It´s a good taste, but it is a little rich. The dulce de leche alfajores are amazing. Seriously, look up a recipe or something. Love you guys and wanted to say that I´m doing pretty dang well out here. I´ll be in touch.

-Elder Sultan

PS- had a cool experience where we taught a CRE (like IP). He was an inactive member who believed in the Book of Mormon but didn´t read it and he really wanted to strengthen his family, so I prayed (during planning) for a scripture that we could share with him and when I got done I immediately thought of Lehi´s dream and we read 1 Nefi 8:11-12. It fit perfectly with his needs I think.
