Week 5 Last email from the Missionary Training Center (CCM)

My dearest family,

Thank you so much for writing. Hearing from you is one of my greatest pleasures during the week. I have really been thankful this week to have been brought up by such wonderful parents. You have been amazing examples. Dad, I love you so much and I am so glad that you are working so hard to progress. I know this is difficult, and I can speak with a sharp reality of experience because I am trying to progress right now.

I would like to start somewhat chronologically with my week. Proselyting last Saturday was great. I can really testify that prayers are answered by God through the Holy Ghost. We realized very quickly that we had forgotten to start with a prayer and once we said one, the change was immediate. We found and taught someone amazing nearly 5 minutes after our prayer. We had something similar happen at the end of our time as well. In the last 30 minutes we got to talk to this really sweet couple outside their home, and we just had a great time with it. They agreed to talk to us again this Saturday. As we headed toward the bus stop, a lady came out to her front doorstep and just watched us. We went over and talked to her. She has spent 4 years in the US working with Women in Need. She speaks fluent English and talked about how important families are and the importance of communication. Incredibly cool.

I have a testimony of a great deal of things. I know the power of the Atonement. I know prayers can, have been, and are answered for me all the time. I know that God loves us. If you can, please send me some of your experiences and how you came to know for yourselves that the Book of Mormon is true. Thank you guys so much.

Today is our last P-day until Monday so it might be a bit of time between emails since we´ll still be in the CCM this Monday. Sunday we watched the Testaments and I have to say that that must be my favorite gospel movie of all time. I really like that movie. I recommend you guys watch it again. I have been searching for scriptures that I might be able to share with you guys and I have come up somewhat empty however I did particularly like Mosiah 3:4. The letters that Mom sent from the 14th and the 21st arrived together on the 27th.

Yesterday we had the opportunity to meet with our mission presidents. President Robertson seems incredibly cool, although we talked with his wife for most of the meeting. She seems great as well. I also was reading in the Book of Mormon this morning and just found an interesting little footnote that led to the Bible Dictionary on Lost Books. If you have time, it´s a cool read. I really love you guys and hope you keep sending pics and mail. Till next time,
